Headlights on wet asphalt. Something crouched on the guardrail with wide, unblinking eyes, then went over the side toward the Little Miami River before the driver could decide what he was seeing.
Loveland, Ohio has told frog stories since 1955, but the account that stuck came from a police officer. Around one in the morning on March 3, 1972, Ray Shockey saw a creature about three to four feet tall with leathery skin and a frog like face on Riverside Drive. Two weeks later a second officer, Mark Matthews, reported a similar encounter on the same road. Decades on, both men would revisit what they saw, and the town stopped caring about the retractions.
The Frogman is the Midwest's favorite kind of monster, half absurd and half unsettling, seen by a sober man on a night shift. It thrives because Loveland decided to keep it.

The craft

This shirt is dyed after it is sewn, not before. The color soaks into the cotton and settles deeper around the seams and collar, so it wears in instead of out. No two come out exactly alike, and that is the point.
The art is printed with DTFlex, a glue-free transfer with clean edges and none of the thick plasticky square cheaper prints leave on top. It stays flexible, moves with the fabric, and will not crack, peel, or fade in the wash.

Print method
The art is printed with DTFlex, a glue-free direct-to-film transfer applied with heat and pressure. It bonds to the surface with clean, fine edges, with no thick plastic square, no glue residue, and no glossy patch. It stays flexible and will not crack, peel, or fade in the wash.
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Skip the fabric softener, and air dry when you can. If you tumble dry, keep it low, and never iron directly over the print. Garment-dyed color keeps settling with every wash, so a little softening is a feature, not a fault.
